Performs assigned responsibilities as part of an internship program. Currently enrolled in an accredited post graduate program. High School Graduate or related experience.

Justification:
Interns have been the life blood on multiple teams supporting aspects of projects that require high level of individual hands-on activity. Job Description

What you will do:
As a detailing intern in this program, you will gain valuable, hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment, with a primary focus on preparing CAD models and technical drawings for manufacturing. The majority of your responsibilities will involve reviewing and refining 3D models and drawings in Autodesk Inventor that have been pre-generated by our proprietary software. This offers a unique opportunity to develop practical design skills while gaining insight into automated modeling processes and industry-standard manufacturing workflows.. #internship

How you will do it:

  • Gain Hands-On Design Experience:Interns will create and revise CAD drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor, developing practical design skills based on real-world specifications and engineering requirements.
  • Understand Industry Standards:Interns will learn how to ensure that all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards, providing a strong foundation in engineering compliance and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Professionals:Interns will work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, gaining valuable teamwork and communication experience in a professional setting.
  • Learn Project and Process Navigation:Interns will be exposed to real projects and will learn how to interpret and follow company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures-essential skills for any engineering career.
  • Develop Technical Software Proficiency:Interns will use essential business tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and OneNote, building digital literacy that supports both technical and administrative tasks.
  • Enhance Communication Skills:Through daily collaboration and email correspondence, interns will strengthen their written and verbal communication skills, preparing them for effective interaction in any workplace.

What we look for:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Drafting with experience in power electronics.
  • Language Skills
  • Fluently read, speak, and write in English. Ability to respond effectively to inquiries from technical staff.
  • Ability to write technical documentation including design reports, work instructions, and test reports.
  • Ability to prepare program summaries for peer and executive review.
  • Mathematical Skills
    Ability to apply mathematical and engineering principles to computations with various tools, including but not limited to mathematical models in engineering metrics.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $19.00-$22.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
