MissionForce - Public Sector Solutions

MissionForce is seeking a talented Senior or Lead Member of Technical Staff to join our Salesforce development team. In this role, you will develop innovative solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud for Federal agencies, the Department of Defense, and government contractors.

You will work with modern Salesforce technologies including Lightning Web Components, Apex, and Flow Builder while ensuring applications meet government security and compliance standards. This is a hands-on development position where you'll contribute to mission-critical applications that serve millions of citizens.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools

  • Build integrations with government systems using REST/SOAP APIs

  • Implement Public Sector Solutions features and customizations

  • Write clean, efficient code that operates within governor limits

  • Create unit tests and maintain code coverage standards

  • Participate in code reviews and technical design sessions

Technical Contribution

  • Collaborate with senior developers and architects on solution design

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

  • Contribute to technical documentation and best practices

  • Support deployment activities and release management

  • Work closely with QA team to ensure quality deliverables

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities

Platform Development

  • Build custom Lightning Web Components for government use cases

  • Develop Flow Builder solutions for business process automation

  • Implement data models and sharing rules

  • Work with Experience Cloud for public-facing applications

  • Support integration development and testing

Required Qualifications: Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of software development experience

  • 3+ years of Salesforce development experience including:

    • Apex classes, triggers, and batch processing

    • Lightning Web Components or Aura

    • SOQL/SOSL queries

    • Declarative tools (Flow Builder, Process Builder)

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies

Technical Skills
  • Salesforce Development: Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flow Builder
  • Web Technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

  • Integration: REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML

  • Tools: VS Code, Git, Salesforce DX

  • Testing: Apex unit testing, test classes

  • Database: Understanding of relational databases and data modeling

Citizenship & Clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be eligible to obtain Secret clearance

  • Clean background suitable for positions of public trust

Note: Active clearance is not required to apply

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I, Administrator)

  • Experience with Government Cloud or Public Sector Solutions

  • Knowledge of government compliance requirements

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence

  • Understanding of Salesforce security best practices
