Job Title: Cost/Price Analyst (Aerospace/Manufacturing Domain) Location with zip code: Kalamazoo MI 49001 Pay rate: $ 35-$47/Hr. on w2 without benefits Duration: 6 months Possible Contract to Hire for the right candidate Shift Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm. Monday - Friday - No Remote Work Must Have: MUST BE very proficient in Excel. Analyst experience a plus and would do well in this role. Do you have a transcript/copy of your Bachelor degree? Must have thorough knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and/or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Do you have any familiarity with complex bill of materials or similar types of products and assemblies? Job Description: Applies principles of cost accounting to collect and analyze diverse and complex historical and estimated cost and pricing data. Performs risk analyses and negotiates business proposals. Develops cost proposal rationale, cost breakdowns, and supporting data by determining the information required by the company and the customer. Identifies factors required to provide cost and price information data Ensures compliance with federal, state and other related pricing laws, regulations and guidelines to minimize legal and financial exposure. Experience in a manufacturing organization, where there is a complexity of machining, assembly, and other vertically integrated processes Experience with complex bill of materials for similar types of products and assemblies - are both highly preferred. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations, including Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and/or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Proficient with automated estimating, pricing, and accounting systems, pricing spreadsheet and database applications, and standard business applications software. Required Education: Bachelor Degree. Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through six or more years of related experience.
