Air Liquide USA LLC Supports the Supply Chain Team in deployment of appropriate supplier on-boarding and supplier risk mitigation / management practices. Ensures the execution of the appropriate supplier risk mitigation and qualification activities in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

  • Assists with and supports Air Liquide business entities to develop roadmaps, best practices, etc to implement Group and entity transformation initiatives impacting Supplier Risk Management

  • Participates as needed for the Americas in Group core team discussions, arbitration, and development of policy & Bluebook updates, Group wide transformation initiatives, and global projects related to Supplier Risk Management

  • Participates as a representative for the Americas requirements for the implementation and on-going use of Supplier Risk & Onboarding modules within Group's Digital Procurement Solution (DPS) platform

  • Support the overall Supply Chain organization in deployment of supplier risk mitigation activities

  • Manage the daily execution of the supplier on-boarding process for the NAM Cluster

  • Conduct supplier audits as required, including comprehensive quality audits, compliance and investigative audits.

    • Schedule audits with critical suppliers

    • Provide non-conformance reporting based on objective evidence

    • Work with suppliers, and Air Liquide entity where appropriate, to resolve deficiencies identified during the audit

    • Manage the corrective action process; assure timely closure and that actions taken are effective to address the non-conformance

    • Assist the Entity Technical Expert, Design Authority or Subject Matter Expert through the supplier qualification process

    • Issue audit reports

  • Work with suppliers and applicable stakeholders within Air Liquide (business, operations, HSEQ, Legal, etc) to drive the supplier risk & qualification process.

  • Review and assist in closure of customer complaints, supplier quality events, and perform investigations when appropriate.

  • Manages third-party contractors by administering the Avetta qualification program for Air Liquide.

  • Assist with the development of annual audit plan

  • Assist with training of Air Liquide stakeholders in Supply Chain and in other departments on supplier risk mitigation processes and procedures including

    • Air Liquide policies and BlueBooks

    • Industry requirements

    • Auditing & qualification tools and systems

    • Supplier risk assessment & mitigation tools.

  • Assist with supplier qualifications against Air Liquide specifications.

    • Communicate with suppliers

    • Distribute supplier questionnaires and other required documentation, as needed

    • Evaluate supplier responses to questionnaires, including coordination of review with the applicable Air Liquide subject matter experts

    • Document qualification status

  • Maintain annual data/schedule sheet with qualification information to track status.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Maintain working knowledge of Air Liquide's Quality Management System and Blue Book requirements.

  • Contribute to setting goals, strategies, and tactics to achieve objectives

  • Other duties as required

EDUCATION:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management. engineering, chemistry or chemical engineering field (or equivalent experience)

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 2-4 years of related experience; knowledge of regulatory requirements (ex: ISO 9001, AS 9100,), Compressed Gas Association and other industry standards (ex: CGA 4.1, ASTM G-93.Good Manufacturing Practices) as appropriate for items to be purchased.

  • Knowledge of quality system tools and Quality Management System auditing; intermediate computer skills, including Google and Microsoft Office suites ( Google sheets, Google presentation) ; general knowledge of manufacturing and production processes; good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to travel in U.S. and internationally as needed, up to 25-35% depending upon assigned locations and geography

Preferred

  • ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) Lead Auditor training, In-depth knowledge of Air Liquide's Quality Management System / Industrial Management System and BlueBook Procurement requirements; ability to use quality system tools (Intelex, Graphite Connect, Air Liquide's Digital Procurement Solution (Zycus), etc).
