Description

The Assistant Vice President/Security Manager is responsible for the daily security operations for MidFirst Bank in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, and Utah. The position is responsible for ensuring security equipment is installed and functioning correctly. The position also manages a Security Coordinator as well as the outsourced security service vendor relationship to ensure all MFC properties and employees are safe and secure. Incumbent will develop post orders, call tress, and procedures that focus on high quality and efficient security services. Position will interface with Arizona, Colorado, and California senior management to ensure their security needs are being met. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:



  • Security System Management - Coordinate the installation, testing and maintenance of security systems for new construction and existing systems
  • Vendor Relationships - Ensure high quality service is received from the various vendors used for equipment, personnel and monitoring
  • Assist in the development of security plans, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with federal security regulations pertaining to banks
  • Liaison between bank and law enforcement agencies for security related issues
  • Liaison with senior management in Arizona, Colorado, California and other markets as required
  • Develops and monitors key quality checklist to ensure consistency of security services.
  • Completes various projects of moderate complexity


Requirements



  • Work requires a minimum of 5 years related experience
  • Management experience in working with diverse group of employees and facilities
  • Requires daily travel to MidFirst locations in Arizona, and the ability to travel within the assigned footprint
  • Strong leadership ability to manage vendor relationships and communicate with senior management
  • Strong PC skills with a good working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Strong working knowledge/understanding of access control, intrusion, and network video systems
  • Solid financial skills to manage contract terms and invoices for corporate security vendors
  • Solid project management skills
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities and administrative tasks on a daily basis
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Strong communication skills are necessary
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Ability to manage, coach, develop and train direct reports
