Essential duties

The Data and Analytics Engineer, III is responsible for providing analytical and technical support for analytics and business intelligence activities. This role involves developing reports, dashboards and interactive data visualizations, in addition to working with data warehouses, data integration and data modeling to support business decisions and gain key insights into business opportunities. This role supports the usage of exploratory advanced analytics to uncover insights with targeted and actionable recommendations from multisource datasets. The Role plays a critical role in extracting value from data, optimizing business processes, and driving competitive advantage through advanced analytical techniques.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Performs advanced statistical analysis and develops predictive models (ML, behavioral, segmentation, forecasting) to support strategic business initiatives.
  • Translates business priorities into analytic strategies, identifying relevant data, applying descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive techniques, and delivering timely solutions.
  • Designs and maintains data models and tailored datasets in collaboration with data engineers to enable BI and advanced analytics.
  • Creates user-friendly dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate complex findings and support decision-making across the organization.
  • Partners with stakeholders at all levels to understand workflows, information needs, and strategic goals, ensuring analytics align with business priorities.
  • Reviews and enhances existing analytic processes, sharing best practices, mentoring, and driving continuous improvement.



REQUIRED



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years' experience in analytics, statistical modeling, and data mining with large databases
  • Proficiency in data modeling, modern data warehouse technologies, and BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik. (familiarity with predictive analytics is a plus)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels
