Interact with many guests both face to face and through phone conversations. Requires working weekends and holidays. Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities: Process sales and order fulfillment through our Point of Sale computer system, including processing discounts, coupons and other product specials. Sell daily lift ticket products as well as season long products, including parking, lockers and season passes. Answer phone and return calls on our Guest Service phone line. Balance cash and card transactions within the daily till and point of sale. Handle both positive and negative guest interactions with grace and composure. Maintaining a helpful and empathetic demeanor. Strong knowledge of Schweitzer and all product offerings including village activities and special events. Secondary Responsibilities: Shovel snow Responsible for keeping office areas neat and clean Other duties as assigned Specific Job Skills: License/Certifications - None Technical - Computer skills required with previous point of sale system experience, cash handling, 10-key typing Physical Capabilities - Should be able to stand/walk for full 8 hour shift Additional - Strong public relations and guest service background and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Education/Related Experience: Minimum education required - English reading, writing and verbal communication plus basic math required. Minimum time in related position - Previous guest service experience preferred.
