Precise Systems is currently looking for an Obsolescence Management Analyst in support of our client in Crane, IN. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as possess the following education and experience.


Duties:



  • Review and respond to obsolescence alerts and survey notices by analyzing the problem and calculate which solution has the least amount of risk to the program.
  • Research vendor's website/Contact vendors.
  • Research potential alternate parts when obsolescence issues occur.
  • Update Lifecycle information for COTS and electronic components.
  • Support product surveys and vendor assessments. Review and analyze various data submittals including initiation of COTS and other electronic, electrical, and electromagnetic (EEE) parts Obsolescence Item Notices.
  • Contact commercial and electronic component vendors supplied via lists to solicit product-engineering support data as identified in the survey. Enter data provided by the vendors into Horizon Solution Suite. Collect other data as provided by the vendor contacts that do not currently have a place in the database, plus other statistics observed during the survey process for assessment and consideration.


Desired Experience:



  • 0-3 years of professional experience


Desired Education:



  • High school Diploma/GED or equivalent required.


Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
