Help Desk Support II (Hybrid - Franklin & Nashville, TN)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm CST. (occasional weekends and travel up to 10%)

Position Summary

The Help Desk Support II role provides technical support for more than 3,300 local and remote end users. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, installing, and maintaining Microsoft systems in an Active Directory environment. The role requires regular on-site presence at both our Franklin corporate office and Nashville hardware depot, with an emphasis on strong customer service and effective communication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, remote desktop, and in person.
  • Strive to achieve first-call resolution whenever possible as part of the IT Call Center.
  • Configure, install, and maintain Microsoft systems in an Active Directory environment.
  • Test, image, and deploy desktops and laptops.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to higher-level support.
  • Track IT assets accurately within the inventory system.
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding purchasing, warranties, and returns.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation to support business needs.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and updates to knowledge base materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of IT support experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, and remote support tools.
  • Experience handling escalated support issues.
  • Experience analyzing and resolving complex system-level software issues.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical IT environment.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP/MCSA).
