About This Role:

We're looking for an experienced Lead, RCM Process & Quality Analyst to join our team and help with the operational and strategic performance of our end-to-end revenue cycle (order to cash).

TheLead, RCM Process & Quality Analystprovides strategic oversight and leadership in quality assurance, process auditing, and operational compliance across all Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) functions. This role ensures that internal processes align with organizational standards, SOX controls, payer requirements, and service-level agreements. The Senior Analyst also mentors junior team members, collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead internal and vendor-facing audits across RCM workflows, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.

  • Oversee call quality review programs to ensure adherence to scripts, professionalism, and accuracy.

  • Design, manage, and distribute RCM scorecards and performance metrics.

  • Monitor and manage payer portal access controls and ensure compliance through periodic reviews.

  • Track offshore payer restrictions and ensure contractual adherence.

  • Lead payer audit responses, coordinating with internal teams to compile necessary documentation.

  • Collaborate with Market Access, Quality, Legal, and Compliance teams on audit escalations.

  • Validate payer contract rate schedules and system configurations in platforms such as Salesforce, ZIO Suite, and vendor systems.

  • Execute and oversee SOX controls related to RCM functions.

  • Maintain and update controlled documents (SOPs, Work Instructions, Quality Control Documents) in partnership with RCM leadership.

  • Resolve escalations from field sales, commercial leadership, and vendor partners.

  • Mentor junior analysts, review audit outputs, and provide constructive feedback.

  • Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing RCM operations.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals.

What We Need to See

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, with a focus on quality assurance and process auditing.

  • Strong understanding of LCDs/NCDs, payer contracts, claims adjudication, denial codes, and reimbursement workflows.

  • Demonstrated expertise in SOX compliance within medical billing, with the ability to develop, execute, and present comprehensive audit reports that support regulatory adherence and operational transparency.

  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects and system/process enhancements.

Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.).

  • Experience with CRM systems, especially Salesforce.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and trends in audit data.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accountability and urgency.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

  • Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPH) preferred.

  • Relevant certifications highly desirable:

    • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR)

    • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)

    • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt

    • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC)

Estimated Pay Range
