POSITION SUMMARY:

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for daily activity support to ensure Material Handling best practices are maintained to ensure inventory accuracy on all transactions. This includes all processes for Nestle Supply Chain area including shipments, physical inventory, scrapping, and inventory replenishment; and inventory accuracy. This is a dynamic environment where continuous improvement is encouraged and celebrated.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • All associated SAP transactions - stock transfer orders, deliveries, goods issues, and goods receipts
  • Work with third-party logistics companies for timely shipment and delivery
  • Regularly scheduled replenishment of goods through SAP Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process to support the field service operations team and update material master data MRP settings for reorder points and max stock levels in SAP
  • Manage all aspects of physical inventories and ESP locations including scheduling, transaction cut-offs, inventory documents, reconciliation, and posting adjustments
  • Coordinate monthly scrapping activities, ensure SAP transactions associated are performed accurately and timely, ensure certificates of destruction are received
  • Ensure the accuracy of records and inventory in SAP through exception and health check reporting
  • Collaborate with all aspects of the factory's Supply Chain, Field Service Technicians, Procurement, Planning, Production, and other departments within the Service Operations to resolve issues and identify process improvements.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 -2 years related experience and/or training; or, equivalent combination of education and experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Inventory experience

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Self-motivated and can work independently
  • Understanding of Inventory management and reconciliation
  • Customer service oriented
  • Positive attitude, ability to get along with others inside and outside the department
  • Timely response to questions and inquiries
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing situations and circumstances
  • Works well under pressure
  • A solid understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel

The approximate pay range for this position is $43,000 to $54,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
