What You Can Expect

  • Innovate, program, and execute system-level tests for complex mixed-signal ICs using Python, MATLAB, and lab equipment such as arbitrary waveform generators (AWG), oscilloscopes, and network analyzers. Collaborate with designers to debug, understand, and document new designs.

  • Work closely with architecture and design teams to develop system-level models for evaluating next-generation technologies

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of ASIC design flow, including design, layout, simulation, and timing analysis, to identify potential issues and weaknesses in designs

  • Provide technical solutions and support to customers, Design, Validation, Field Application Engineers, and Test Engineers

  • Generate professional test reports and conduct comparative performance analyses of test devices

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experience or Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3-5 years of experience

  • Proficiency in hardware applications and validation engineering, particularly with mixed-signal ICs

  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuits, as well as signal processing

  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB.

  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and AWGs

  • Skilled in debugging at both board and IC levels

  • Experience supporting customers is advantageous

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • A flexible, proactive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Excellent critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

143,200 - 214,500, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
