OverviewAs a Technical Program Manager II in Azure Core, you will collaborate with teams across Microsoft to deliver new technology to Azure enabling customers to access the newest infrastructure to power their AI services. This opportunity will allow you to see how new servers, networks and racks come together with software to build the cloud at hyperscale. You will partner with software engineers, building the control plane managing the cloud's servers and network devices. You'll work with hardware engineers, manufacturing and supply chain, datacenter technicians, and our external partners to ensure everything comes together. Your ability to handle a breadth of issues spanning all these teams and their areas will be challenged as you manage the complexity making it all possible while driving improvements that scale for the world. ResponsibilitiesYou will partner with Software and Hardware Engineering to design technical solutions across feature areas, identify and assess risks and propose data-based mitigations.You will define success criteria as you collaborate with others to implement features for cross-functional projects. You will coordinate and ensure alignment across teams.With minimal supervision, you will help deliver on roadmap for feature groups, track project schedules, develop staging and implementation, and stay updated with governance programs.You will drive continuous improvements by validating use cases and partnering with other departments to collect performance metrics.
