Our Responsible AI Program, which includes AI governance and operations, supports AI teams across UnitedHealth Group with a holistic, structured, and cross-disciplined review of AI. In this newly created critical role, we are seeking a skilled senior technical program manager to serve as our Associate Director, Enablement and Automation Lead for the Office of Responsible AI. You will apply your expertise in leading the operations and execution of multiple enablement and automation projects within our Responsible AI Program portfolio. You will play a critical role in operationalizing and scaling the governance infrastructure that supports UHG's enterprise-wide Responsible AI Program. This role is ideal for a thought partner, an empathetic colleague, a strategic thinker, and execution-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. As a seasoned orchestrator, you will navigate the strategic development of business requirements, bridging the gap between cross-functional technical/tech-savvy teams to realize the AI governance vision. You will develop the programmatic approach and lead the charge in program planning and all related launch activities tied to procuring, securing, and deploying a new governance workflow solution. You are a champion of PMO best practices across the Office of Responsible AI and our enterprise counterparts. You will develop, implement program plans, risk management practices, and stakeholder engagement strategies. In leading dynamic team meetings to foster cross-team collaboration, you are partnership-minded and a confident decision-maker, ensuring program alignment and executive buy-in and support. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining quality practices in the consistency of process, procedures, and messaging across Responsible AI platforms, program documentation, guidance documentation, and end-user training. You will contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and balance shifting priorities toward the overall mission of the program. You will be a hands-on enthusiastic learner on all things automation engineering, data analytics, and data visualization practices. You will build knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts to attain expertise on topics related to Responsible AI, such as how to evaluate AI for performance, fairness, or security. In this central role, you will influence across the enterprise by interacting with enterprise compliance partners, data science leaders and functional business executives to educate and advise on key concepts related to responsible AI. This role is essential to the company's success as the Responsible AI Program has increasing requirements for standards based on emerging technology and to meet the increasing market demand. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
