What you'll do:

As a Preferred and Small Business Banking Senior Training Specialist you'll ensure that employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. You'll design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of Preferred and Small Business Banking. Collaborating closely with the training team and subject matter experts, you'll create and facilitate engaging and impactful training materials such as presentations, manuals, web-based training, and instructor-led sessions. Utilizing a variety of instructional techniques, you'll be expected to make learning accessible and effective for all employees, regardless of their learning styles. You'll foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the bank by promoting available training opportunities, encouraging employees to pursue ongoing education and skill enhancement to help them achieve their career goals, and partnering with leadership and team to offer comprehensive, dynamic learning solutions. Your efforts will contribute to the overall growth and success of the institution, ensuring that the bank maintains a competitive edge with a well-trained and knowledgeable workforce.
  • Collaborate closely with the Training Manager and team to improve operational processes, addressing identified risks. Includes reviewing, updating, and improving bank and department procedures and developing targeted training programs to enhance efficiencies, system usability, and elevate the client experience.
  • Foster strong, professional relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across partner departments such as Treasury Management Product, Service, Operations, IT, and relevant third-party services.
  • Collaborate effectively with operations and product subject matter experts to ensure training content accuracy and compliance with regulatory, legal, as well as bank and department policies and procedures. Actively participate in quality assessments to support leadership in addressing necessary changes and revisions to improve the training program. This includes addressing negative feedback trends through enhancements to the training process.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve the training experience for employees by delivering content and delivery methods that are efficient, relevant, practical, and engaging to audiences at all levels. Keep up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure training content remains relevant.

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years of related experience in learning and talent development, public speaking, presentation skills, or similar or similar field.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Intermediate experience in financial services preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience with facilitation techniques.
  • Intermediate to advanced detail orientation and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience managing and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Intermediate to advanced public speaking experience required.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience hosting and presenting training sessions to diverse audiences preferred.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
