Job Title: Medical Scheduler Location: Olympia, WA 98506 Schedule: * Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM * Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Pay Rate: $16-$21/hour Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Scheduler to join our team in Olympia, WA. This role is essential in ensuring smooth scheduling operations and providing excellent service to patients and staff. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional phone presence, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: * Schedule patient appointments and manage incoming calls. * Respond to patient alerts and conduct emergency overhead paging as needed. * Maintain professionalism while handling high call volumes. * Follow up to ensure patient needs are met and appointments are confirmed. * Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support scheduling needs. Requirements: * Strong computer and phone skills. * Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette. * Previous experience in a call center or receptionist role preferred. * Healthcare scheduling experience is a plus, but not required. * Must be flexible, reliable, and able to work the specified schedule. * Reliable transportation required. Additional Information: * Free parking is available in a lot directly in front of the building. * No time off permitted during the first 90 days of employment. * Every other weekend, availability may be required depending on operational needs.
