DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will supervise and participate in maintenance, repair, and construction projects on a wide range of outdoor assignments. This includes overseeing and training equipment operators, semi-skilled laborers, and laborers as well as organizing the equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to complete projects. Work also includes performing a full range of supervisory duties, in addition to operating, transporting, and maintaining light and heavy construction equipment to demolish and rebuild above and below ground structures; and excavate, grade, and haul dirt, debris, and paving materials. You will be expected to monitor and ensure that all work is performed is in compliance with trades methods, quality and efficiency standards, manufacturing guidelines, regulations, codes, and project objectives, as well as assess job sites and specifications to provide your recommendation on the feasibility of construction or reconstruction projects. Our team will rely on you to supervise and schedule employees, review and interpret construction and engineering drawings; lay out the sequence of work, materials, and equipment; prepare and organize job sites; and review and approve completed work according to project specifications. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Five years experience as a lead worker or tradesman in construction work, including some experience in the operation of automotive equipment and light and heavy construction equipment; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a standard high school or vocational school, including courses in mathematics; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
