POSITION SUMMARY: Maintain the smooth running of the facility with maximum up time of production equipment in a safe environment. Supervise employees to perform maintenance to facilitate meeting production goals. Oversee, monitor, and document employee training, performance, and compliance of Company policies and procedures.



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Supervise maintenance functions of facility and equipment.
  • Promote and model One Chromalloy culture
  • Order parts, components and supplies
  • Supervise maintenance personnel on daily basis.
  • Manage Hazardous material and wastewater control
  • Supervise rebuilding of used equipment for new use.
  • Administrate BeERP
  • Adhere to all Company health, safety and environmental policies
  • Coordinate emergency response activities
  • Evaluate staff performance, provide training, and manage disciplinary actions in partnership with Human Resources
  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production
  • Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.


  • Perform skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and troubleshooting during the repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust as needed.
  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area supporting 5S method
  • Detect faulty operations, and defective material
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
  • Control maintenance budget and spending.
  • Set working hours for department and obtain approval through Operations Manager.
  • Direct and delegate workload to maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure all processes, procedures and documentation are ISO compliant.



The marginal duties and responsibilities (performed occasionally or at irregular intervals) for this position are:



  • Vendor Relations
  • Furnace surveys and certifications
  • Forklift and Manlift operator
  • Performing other tasks in the facility as needed.



EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:


The specific EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE requirements of this position are:




  • An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting training and/or education a plus
  • 3-5 years proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment



The specific LICENSES and/or CERTIFICATIONS required for this position are:




  • Forklift and Manlift certifications



The specific SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE required for this position are:




  • Able to read and write in English
  • Ability to accurately interpret blueprints and/or work in-process documents
  • Proven role model as leader; exhibits professional behavior and personal accountability
  • Basic math skills
  • Good knowledge of maintenance function
  • Knowledge of waste management
  • Ability to constructively interact with employees at all levels within the organization



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • All maintenance personnel
