Job Title: Staff IT Analyst II - SDLC
Location: Block 23
What you'll do: As the Staff IT Analyst II, you'll lead activities to review current processes and metrics that support operational effectiveness, identify constraints or opportunities that inhibit or accelerate the business and/or technology strategy, while also developing potential options/approaches to improve business outcomes. You'll also lead development and review of artifacts to ensure they accurately describe current state processes, practices, and/or metrics, while also ensuring the documentation of any alternative processes or practice options with associated impact on KRIs, KPIs or Operational Metrics. Additionally, as the Staff IT Analyst II, you'll identify and facilitate discussions with IT, Product, and the Business subject matter experts, to understand the problem statement and/or opportunity while also capturing any relevant insights to include a full review of the findings or artifacts produced to validate the right problem or opportunity is being assessed.
- Lead on projects with the expectation the business outcomes are achieved. Work to fully understand how the work connects to the defined project objectives, the work breakdown structure for the activities, setting and meeting deadlines for that work. Lead discussions with stakeholders and subject matter experts needed to gather requirements and review artifacts, while working to resolve issues that impede progress.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops across all organizational levels, focusing on SDLC best practices, quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Develop list of critical documentation and artifacts to meet project objectives and complete development of high quality deliverables, while effectively communicating any relevant learnings, findings, or impacts, with the subject matter experts.
- Lead quality control checkpoints for IT projects and ensure conformance to using the appropriate SDLC artifacts as captured in the SDLC standard.
- Leverage Risk Management experience from a large financial institution subject to heightened standards, specifically in risk, compliance, or corporate governance.
- Collaborate with component owners to identify areas for improvement in documentation, execution, and compliance.
- The capture and upkeep of KRIs, KPIs, & Operational Metrics, as necessary.
- Support the upkeep of quality dashboards and contribute to leadership reporting by identifying trends and suggesting areas for improvement.
What you'll need:
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required. Will consider equivalent experience.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Experience with project quality control frameworks, risk management, and/or documentation standards. Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) is preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced in process and data analysis within a specific domain or functional area utilizing critical thinking skills.
- Intermediate to advanced working in Microsoft Office & relevant Diagramming Software (e.g. Lucid, Visio, etc.), as well as technical aptitude & experience within a specific domain.
- Intermediate to advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
- Occasional travel required.
