EnSafe is accepting applications for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Training Development Specialist to support EnSafe's client in Austin, TX (with remote flexibility).

What We Are Looking For:

As an EHS Training Development Specialist, you will lead the conversion and modernization of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) training programs. You will transform existing PowerPoint and PDF-based courses into engaging SCORM-compliant eLearning modules using Articulate Rise, ensuring alignment with best practices in Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) and Human Performance Improvement (HPI). Your work will directly support Samsung Austin Semiconductor's EHS department by modernizing training content for delivery through their Cornerstone platform (Samsung U).

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Converting existing EHS training content (PPT/PDF) into interactive SCORM-compliant modules.
  • Developing high-quality computer-based training (CBT) using Articulate Rise.
  • Coordinating with onsite EHS training staff to review, edit, and finalize modules.
  • Preparing progress reports, draft training files, and delivery schedules in collaboration with client stakeholders.
  • Ensuring training materials meet applicable Texas and local codes as well as internal quality standards.
  • Delivering final files for upload into the Samsung U learning management system.
  • Supporting EHS coordinators with knowledge transfer and process documentation.
  • Providing weekly status updates on development progress.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Safety, or related field (Master's in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning strongly preferred).
  • Proven experience in instructional design and eLearning development, particularly in environmental, health, and safety training.
  • Demonstrated expertise with SCORM standards and Articulate Rise authoring.
  • Background in Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) and Human Performance Improvement (HPI).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with EHS subject matter experts.
  • Ability to work remotely while maintaining consistent project delivery and updates.

Ideally, you'll also have...

  • Prior experience supporting Samsung Austin Semiconductor or similar semiconductor manufacturing clients.
  • Familiarity with ANSI/ASSP Z490 training standards.
  • Knowledge of EHS compliance topics such as confined space entry, fall protection, PPE, HAZCOM, arsenic awareness, and line/equipment opening.
  • Experience integrating training content into enterprise LMS platforms such as Cornerstone.
