Job Description

By joining our team as a Support Engineer, you will be a partner and solution provider for our customers around the world. Your primary responsibility will be to help our customers reach their goals, through onsite and remote interactions. Rockwell Automation will provide you with the tools, knowledge, and resources required for you to be successful in this role. You will report to the Team Lead, Remote Support. This position is a remote opportunity

Your Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and solve customer issues via the phone, chat, email, and onsite
  • Performs on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnostics, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems
  • Performs project management by setting expectations with customers for follow up, maintaining Service Tickets and developing Knowledgebase content
  • Responds to urgent customer needs, ensuring a timely and quality response while keeping relevant parties informed
  • Serve as company liaison to the customer for multiple product families and various types of customer inquiries
  • Achieve customer satisfaction metrics
  • Models collaboration in a dynamic team environment
  • Travel as required to cover assigned region/sub-region. Accessible during off hours, weekends and holidays
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or related 4 year technology degree
  • Minimum 2 years of engineering experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the US/Canada. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
  • Travel as required to cover assigned Region/Sub-region and is accessible during off hours, weekends and holidays
  • Experience partnering with sales teams and customers
  • Experience delivering technical presentations to internal and external customers
  • Experience with PlantPAx, FactoryTalkView SE, Optix, and Studio 5000

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $67,680 - $101,520 with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
