Proven to Perform. ATI is currently looking for a Sub Arc Welder
POSITION PURPOSE: Position is responsible for performing electric arc and/or gas welding on a variety of plant items such as structures, vessels, tanks, etc. Performs flame cutting or brazing operations when directed. Reads and interprets prints, drawings and sketches, and welding symbols. Uses hand tools and measuring devices in performing required setups and welding operations. Requires thorough knowledge of welding, torching, and brazing techniques, as well as material characteristics and structural fundamentals. Essential Functions:
Requirements Journeyman status required through a State Indentured Apprenticeship or 6-8 years of direct on the job experience capable of performing above requirements. Also must be qualified to weld in accordance with ASME section code IX, QW 300. We thrive when the expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
