Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice President of University Relations & Development, the Executive Assistant will:

    Act as a strategic liaison between the VP, senior leadership, URD teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the success and coordinate high-level meetings, travel, and events for the VP and AVPs.
  • Coordinate donor and prospect engagement, including outreach, scheduling, and presentation materials.
  • Co-manage donor relations for the Long Beach State Foundation Board, leading high-impact projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure smooth administrative operations in partnership with the Division Administrative Coordinator, including office coverage, reception, and guest relations.

What You'll Bring

  • Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of related experience.
  • At least five years of administrative support experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage complex calendars, balance competing priorities, and maintain discretion with confidential information.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written - with diplomacy in high-profile settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, calendar management systems, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000
