Overview Job Title: ID&C Engineering Lead Location: Arnold AFB, TN Job Family Code: O - Engineering Function/Branch: Engineering/ID&C Branch Directorate: Engineering & Tech Support Position Type: Regular, Full-Time Pay Type: Exempt Grade (provided by HR): L08 (OA0803) - L09 (OA0903) Salary Range (provided by HR): $88,000 - $155,000 / year Overview Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Lead supporting TOS II, at Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold AFB, TN. The ID&C Engineer will work as a member of an integrated team responsible for operating and maintaining the United States Air Force Test Operations efforts at AEDC. This position requires occasional scheduled extended hours and/or weekend work to meet critical contractual requirements and occasional unscheduled night or weekend support in emergency situations. Job Summary The successful candidate for this Engineering Lead role will work independently, solve complex technical problems, effectively lead others as mentor and coach, and place emphasis on professional development of software engineers and computer system administrators who perform software development/maintenance and system administration tasks associated with test operations, systems engineering and maintenance. Expectations of the role include effectively working with others to manage multiple efforts simultaneously; planning, organizing, and directing the work of teams consisting of multiple skillsets and stakeholders; monitoring progress on multiple efforts; and resolving problems when required. It is expected that this Engineering Lead will perform the general duties of a Software Engineer and/or Computer System Administrator plus additional duties associated with technical leadership and personnel administration as assigned by and under the direction of a Group Manager. This ID&C Engineering Lead will be deployed to the Flight Systems Test Facilities (Flight Data Processing Section); however, the company may reassign Leads to other areas based on workload demands and mission needs. Engineering Leads may also support multiple test areas/facilities as required. Job Duties: This role is vital to meet Instrumentation, Data Acquisition, and Control (ID&C) contractual and test customer requirements associated with AEDC Aerodynamic Test Facilities. The individual selected for this role will be responsible for the following duties:
