This position is for 1st Shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday through Friday

SUMMARY:
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for monitoring Maintenance Department inventory levels to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation by performing the following duties. Also, they are responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assess and authorize replenishment inventory for the Maintenance Department.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment to include all technical store areas.
  • Arrange and manage necessary inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Research discrepancies in inventory
  • Collects and prepares pull down requests for Maintenance personnel
  • Work hand in hand with 3rd Party suppliers to order and stock parts.
  • Receive and verify all parts that have been delivered.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • Must be licensed to operate lift equipment (licensing may be obtained through internal or external training)
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Regularly lifting 40lbs and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 70lbs with assistance
  • Must be self-sufficient and productive

EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior inventory experience within a Manufacturing Maintenance environment

SKILLS:

  • Basic knowledge of parts, maintenance, and measuring tools (calipers, tape measures)
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to other associates in English
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Computer proficient; skilled in Excel, Word, Outlook
