Compliance Specialist

AllHealth Network is currently looking for qualified Compliance Specialist to lead activities to support and promote compliance with rules, policies and laws and establish and monitor controls over inherent risk. Job Description:

Compliance Specialist



  • The incumbent fosters a culture of compliance and best practice among all staff members, assuring constant survey readiness for licensure
  • In consultation with Risk and Compliance Director lead compliance efforts at AllHealth Network
  • Monitor compliance risk and the effectiveness of risk controls across all programs
  • Serves as the Compliance Specialist to implement Compliance Plan in consultation with Risk and Compliance Director.
  • Monitor and enforcement of the Compliance Plan.
  • Resolves compliance issues arising from grievances and critical incident reports.
  • Participates on the appropriate committees as the representative of the Risk and Compliance program.
  • Motivate and engage others to mitigate compliance risk and cultivate a highly risk-aware and ethical organization.
  • Create, manage, and develop a positive departmental staff experience with respect to compliance with rules, laws and policies.
  • Identifying areas of actual or potential risk and mitigating factors, oversee the prevention of possible injuries to clients, visitors and employees for the Risk Management Plan.
  • Upon consultation with the Director of Risk and Compliance, develop, initiate, maintain, and revise policies and procedures related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
  • Act as a resource to AllHealth Network staff and external regulatory agencies on issues relating to risk management and compliance. Facilitate educational trainings for clinical staff on issues related to risk management and compliance.
  • Upon consultation with the Director of Risk and Compliance, conduct timely compliance investigations. Ensure proper reporting of violations or potential violations to authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate and/or requested. Establish and provide direction and management of the compliance hotline.
  • Work staff to ensure that program services and documentation complies with all requirements outlined by both policy and state regulations.
  • Provide training regarding the compliance program and its components to new employees.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and cooperation across all levels of the organization to achieve the mission and vision of AllHealth Network.
  • Follow all AllHealth Network policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position and the experience, education and ability of the employee.


Qualifications:



  • BA preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' experience with progressive advancement in knowledge, skills, and competencies related to compliance and risk management, preferably within a behavioral health environment.
  • Experience providing technical support in a highly regulated environment
  • Eligible to be certified in Healthcare Compliance within 6 months of hire or promotion
  • Competency in health care compliance, ability to create and implement corrective action plans and root cause analyses.
  • Exceptional leadership and relational skills to effectively enforce an ethical compliance environment. Must have expertise in risk management and safety issues and the ability to work independently.

Pay Rate:

$64,000 - $69,000

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the AllHealth Network mission and values. The range listed is just one component of AllHealth Networks' total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives as well as a generous benefits package detailed below.
