The Opportunity An Executive Assistant at Adobe is a pivotal support role, responsible for providing comprehensive administrative assistance to senior-level executives. This position demands a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, adept at managing confidential information with discretion, and skilled at anticipating the needs for our VP of Engineering for Adobe.com. What you'll do The daily duties of an Executive Assistant at Adobe are diverse and essential to the efficient functioning of the executive's workspace. Key duties include:
Calendar Management: Expertly managing and prioritizing the executive's complex and often-changing calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference calls across different time zones. Travel Coordination: Arranging all aspects of domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and detailed itineraries. Meeting and Event Planning: Organizing and coordinating internal and external meetings, team off-sites, and special events. This includes securing venues, managing logistics, preparing agendas, and distributing materials. Communication Management: Acting as a gatekeeper for the executive by screening and prioritizing calls, emails, and other correspondence. This involves responding on behalf of the executive when appropriate. Expense and Budget Tracking: Processing expense reports, managing purchasing orders, and assisting with budget tracking for the executive's department. Confidentiality and Discretion: Handling highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism. Relationship Building: Fostering strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators, including other executive assistants, team members, and clients. Project Support: Providing administrative support for special projects and initiatives as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an executive assistant, supporting engineering or technical senior-level management in a corporate setting. Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with collaboration tools such as Slack and Microsoft Teams. Organizational and Time Management Skills: The ability to multitask, prioritize conflicting demands, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and polished demeanor. Problem-Solving Abilities: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues with sound judgment and minimal supervision. Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Education: A bachelor's degree is often preferred but not always required, with relevant work experience being highly valued.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $79,100 -- $166,000 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
