Seeking experienced low voltage technicians; they would look at candidates with previous nurse call installation and/or CAT 5/6 terminations within a hospital environment. They will be mainly be terminating and devicing so very little cable pulling. We are in the market for a couple of temporary team members that have knowledge of nurse call and/or CAT 5/6 terminations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: *1 safety related certification *1 Manufacturing Certification *1 Industry Certification (NICET 1, Rauland, Lenel, Genetec) *Industry certifications and internal training can/will be obtained during the first year of employment to meet the minimum qualifications when applicable. *Skills* Nurse Call, CAT 6, CAT 5, terminations *Top Skills Details* Nurse Call,CAT 6,CAT 5,terminations *Additional Skills & Qualifications* CORE RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following: *Project and Inspection Kick-Off Meeting: Verify understanding of the project plan, safety requirements and task responsibilities. * Executing Project and Inspection Plan: oFollow daily work project & Inspection plan including safe work practices and requirements. oAssist in cable pathway construction, cable pulling, device terminations, and system testing. oAsk questions when needed and look for next steps in project plan, always keeps busy and productive. oMonitor life safety systems during system inspections, and ensure connected devices are tested correctly. oDocument test results of inspections. oCommunicate Testing results and discrepancies to team, addressing any malfunctions immediately. oReview online documentation, utilizing checklists to ensure each device scheduled for testing gets tested. oProduce quality and efficient work. oMaintain a clean and organized working environment. oArrive to the job site on time and be self-driven to accomplish needed tasks. oWork as supportive team member, listening and gathering technical skill sets. o25% Travel Required. oMaintain a clean and organized working environment. oArrive to the job site on time and is self-driven to accomplish needed tasks. oWork as supportive team member, listening and gathering technical skill sets. *Closing the Project and Inspection: Verify all assigned project tasks were complete and ensure cleanliness of project site. *Post Project Meetings: Provide input to Project Manager or Field Supervisor on processes, procedures, tools, and best practices for improvement. Give recommendations to Sales and Engineering on improvement areas and project or Inspection successes. *Service: Responsible to support Service ticket completion as assigned and provide voluntary support to 24/7 On Call rotation. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
