Position Title: Mid/Senior Acquisition Analyst Location: Crystal City, VA Onsite Requirement: Minimum 3-4 days per week in-office Position Summary: Sayres Defense is seeking a Mid/Senior Acquisition Analyst to provide programmatic and acquisition support to the PEO IWS 11.0 team in Crystal City, VA. This role requires strong experience in acquisition documentation, program planning, funding execution, and action tracking in support of a dynamic Navy program office. Key Responsibilities:
Provide overall acquisition and programmatic expertise and support to the program office.
Support the annual Task Planning and Allocation Review, including in-depth requirements analysis, liaison with performers, and preparation of briefing materials.
Develop and maintain program spend plans, track appropriations, and assist with execution of funding.
Support data calls and funding reviews, including 7300s, Obligation Phasing Plans (OPP), SCN Execution Reviews (SER), execution reviews, and funding deep dives.
Update weekly briefs, develop executive presentations, and maintain program records.
Provide meeting support including scheduling, agenda development, facilitation, and preparation of meeting minutes.
Track, analyze, and manage incoming and outgoing action items from meetings, telecoms, and official correspondence.
Draft, coordinate, and review Purchase Requisition (PR) packages for new contract requirements and modifications; input PR data into required systems.
Support the development and review of acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, Justifications & Approvals, and Statements of Work.
Prepare, review, and update program management documentation to ensure compliance with DoD and Navy acquisition standards.
Utilize MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Navy Enterprise tools (NEPs) for daily task execution.
Required Qualifications (Clearance & Education/Experience):
Education & Experience Requirements: Mid-Level Acquisition Analyst:
Associate's degree and 10 years of relevant experience, or
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5 years of relevant experience, or
Master's degree in a relevant field.
Senior Acquisition Analyst:
Associate's degree and 20 years of relevant experience, or
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 15 years of relevant experience, or
Master's degree in a relevant field and 10 years of relevant experience.
