Job Description (General Summary)

Intralox, L.L.C. Quality Department has an opening for a 3rd Shift Quality Inspector in our Cleveland, OH (Twinsburg) facility. This position will be scheduled Monday through Friday ( 1:00 AM - 8:30 AM Monday morning, 11:30 PM - 8:30 AM Monday night - Friday morning). Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities
*Perform routine inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications
*Use precision measuring tools and testing equipment to assess product properties
*Interpret product specifications and tolerances on engineering drawings and technical documentation to ensure compliance
*Conducts visual inspections to ensure products meet visual appearance requirements
*Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including any non-conformances or deviations from standards
*Understands the SPC data collection system to ensure that the manufacturing processes are in control in producing high quality products
*Collaborate with production and quality teams on root cause analysis, continuous improvement projects, and critical success factors
*Provide flexible support to other areas of the plant as needed
Requirements
*High school diploma or equivalent
*Strong observational skills and attention to detail
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Basic understanding of measurement systems and tools
*Ability to interpret quality drawings and sampling plans
*Proficiency in basic computer software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
*Work overtime as required, including weekends
*Ability to perform the essential functions as detailed in the functional job description, including the requirement to lift and carry 50 - 100 lbs (over 50 lbs with an assist).
Preferred Qualifications
*Work experience in a manufacturing quality or plastic extrusion environment
*Good visual acuity
*Powered Industrial Vehicle experience
*Understanding of GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
*Experience with InfinityQS ProFicient on Demand or other SPC software
*Passion for learning and growth with ability to manage own tasks and meet goals and objectives with little supervision
*Demonstration of sense of urgency and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
*Proven track record of making consistent, logical, and objective decisions using good judgment
*Ability to assume good intentions and exhibit trust in workplace relationships
