Hours & Pay

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: 7 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday (Standard weekday hours with project-based flexibility)

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll transform architectural drawings into manufacturing-ready designs that bring projects to life. Daily responsibilities include:



  • Producing precise 2D and 3D CAD drawings using Microvellum and AutoCAD (2019 or newer)
  • Developing detailed shop drawings for custom cabinets, furniture, and millwork
  • Generating accurate cut lists and CNC programs optimized for material usage and production efficiency
  • Reviewing and interpreting architectural and construction drawings to create manufacturable solutions
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and production teams to ensure designs meet timelines, specifications, and budgets
  • Performing quality checks to ensure compliance with internal standards, industry codes, and client requirements
  • Troubleshooting software or design issues in Microvellum and coordinating with technical support if needed
  • Maintaining clear project documentation, including revision history and design updates

What We're Looking For



  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years using Microvellum software in millwork or cabinetry design
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microvellum and AutoCAD (preferably 2019 or newer); ability to create CNC programs, cut lists, and technical drawings
  • Knowledge Base: Familiarity with cabinetry, millwork, or related industries preferred
  • Other Requirements: Ability to lift up to 60 lbs; strong problem-solving skills; excellent attention to detail; ability to read and interpret architectural/construction drawings
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or technical certification in drafting, engineering, or a related field preferred
