Assists with procedures to analyze, diagnose and treat the cardiovascular system. Responsibilities: Monitors, records and communicates results and/or patient condition as appropriate. Assists with delivering patient treatments or testing as directed.| Prepares treatment or testing areas and patient for therapy as appropriate. Assists with procedure turnover and prep.| Maintains equipment, supplies, and/or work area used in therapy interventions. Performs quality assurance checks on radiologic equipment, hemodynamic monitoring, and oximetry/coagulation equipment.| Performs routine procedures including patient vital signs (before, during and post procedure), EKG, hemodynamic monitoring, and procedure documentation. Removes vascular sheaths utilizing manual compression and assistive devices.| Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Education: * High School diploma / GED equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. * Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. Licensure / Certification / Registration: * Required Credential(s): * One or more of the following: * Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. * BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. * Preferred Credential(s): * Nurse Aide credentialed from the Michigan Nurse Aide Registry. * Cardiographic Tech specializing in Rhythm Analysis credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). * Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). * Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
