KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist I Governance Management to join our Ignition Tax Products group.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement projects, programs, and processes in support of the Technology Governance Management work area's overall strategy
  • Formulate solutions designed to achieve operational, functional, and business targets for the Technology Governance Management work area
  • Facilitate the adoption and lifecycle management of IT infrastructure products, ensuring the products delivered are fit for purpose and catalogued for re-use
  • Drive the production and maintenance of product documentation that demonstrates compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to organizational standards
  • Act independently to identify and investigate technology management compliance issues and develop action plans that address them
  • Conduct advanced analyses regarding the current IT infrastructure to locate any possible and/or emergent compliance risks
  • Guide junior colleagues through consultation and mentoring in techniques and processes and provides functional supervision
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of recent governance and compliance experience, preferably within a large professional services environment
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; PMP certification is preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of disparate compliance frameworks and their principles, relevant industry certifications (for example: PMP, ISO, SOC, DCAM, CPA, and more), and experience with emerging technologies is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
  • Proficiency in ability to organize, analyze, and present ideas, facts, and data in a well-structured and concise manner
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize technical data and convey it to non-technical audiences
