Lobby Attendant

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Lobby Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel's public areas, including the lobby, restrooms, hallways, and entrances. This role ensures that all guests enjoy a clean, safe, and comfortable environment upon arrival and throughout their stay.

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all public areas in the Hotel and reporting any Engineering problems to their supervisor or Manager. May also stock pool towels and keep pool area & restrooms clean. During times of high occupancy and heavy traffic, this associate must be able to keep up with all areas as quietly and discreetly as possible so as not to disturb any guest or members.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain cleanliness of all restrooms, lobbies, public hallways.
• Maintain cleanliness of designated office areas.
• Keep all restroom facilities well stocked with needed supplies.
• Keep pool towels stocked and pool restrooms clean.
• Keep all entry ways clean, inside and outside.
• Keep Business Center clean.
• Assist with guest rooms as needed.
• Ensure safety practices and procedures are followed. Be continually alert for the safety of associates, Members and guests.
• Work cooperatively with other departments.
• Help with supply/inventory control.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory MVR for insurance purposes.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain proper associate uniform standards and footwear which is slip resistant, enclosed toe and heel.
• Be able to speak and understand the English language.
• Must keep a high standard of confidentiality.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Be able to walk, stand, squat, bend, stretch and climb stairs
• Must be organized
• Must be punctual, self motivated and able to follow instructions while working independently.
• Must be able to interact with co-workers and customers and have a sense of TEAM.
