Responsible for the assembly and repair of rigid & flexible medical endoscopes and industrial adapters.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assembles and repairs rigid & flexible medical endoscopes.
  • Assembles and disassembles electronic components.
  • Performs cleaning and inspection of various components.
  • Ensures assemblies will pass QC inspections or be reworked or replaced.
  • Performs maintenance on equipment and work areas used by department as needed.
  • Completes daily production documentation accurately.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures for assembly processes.
  • Adheres to quality standards for assembly processes.
  • Adheres to all PPE and safety requirements.
  • Aware of and complies with the RWMIC Quality Manual and regulations & requirements as they apply to this job type/position.
  • Completes all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned by Production Manager - Optics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of general manufacturing assembly or 1 year of small part assembly experience preferred.
  • Ability to use microscopes, small tooling, soldering equipment, solvents & adhesives is preferred.
  • Ability to cross train in multiple assemblies
  • Must possess ability to understand assembly drawings and written assembly procedures.
  • Basic understanding of measuring devices and ability to use calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc. is preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred
  • Basic PC skills
  • Experience with and understanding cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment

The following physical demands are required:

  • Stand/Sit/Walk 8 hours per day
