Licensed Practical Nurse Triage Fairfax, VA Pay From $28 Per Hour MUST: The Licensed Practical Nurse must have the following: 1+year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse Comfortable working all phones, triaging calls and working a non-clinical role Reviewing upcoming procedures with patients Assisting with inquiries Coordinating with clinical team Handling pre-authorizations for prescriptions Experience triaging phone calls Responding to clinical questions and post surgical inquiries Providing instructions to patients before and after surgical procedures Scheduling appointments CPR thru American Red Cross or AHA DUTIES: The duties of the Licensed Practical Nurse include but are not limited to the following: Provide surgical instructions to patients Answer and triage phone calls Work collaboratively with clinical staff Review labs with patients Pre-authorize prescriptions Make post operative calls to patients Schedule follow up appointments Complete clinical forms including FMLA Process prescription refills Assist physicians as needed and provide instructions to patient Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
