Compensation Grade: P16Compensation Details: Minimum: $59,537.00 - Maximum: $59,537.00 AnnuallyDepartment (OHEHR) AI - AIDS InstituteJob Description: Responsibilities Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Program Assistant I to work within the Bureau of HIV/AIDS Epidemiology. This position will be part of a dynamic team directly supporting the Bureau's fiscal and personnel-related activities. The Program Assistant I will contribute to ongoing Security and Confidentiality efforts developing training materials, facilitating compliance activities and maintaining a database of data users encompassing New York State. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of experience in administrative, financial, human resources, operations or other program activities; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and three years of such experience; OR five years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. Preferred Qualifications At least one year of supervisory experience. Proficient in MS Office programs, Adobe Acrobat or other file sharing platforms in preparation of documents, presentations, and spreadsheets. Experience coordinating meetings, webinars, or conducting staff training including the use of virtual platforms. Experience with procurement systems and purchasing activities. Experience with data entry, managing personnel databases, and tracking documents. Conditions of Employment Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Travel up to 25% of the time will be required. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
