Job Description

This internship will provide the opportunity to learn about Engineering Project Management within the Semi-Conductor Industry. This opportunity will allow you to sharpen your communication and problem-solving skills in an international business environment. You will work collaboratively with team members, actively participate in discussions, decisions, and all project activity. You will work as part of a team and as an individual.

This internship will be payrolled via our payroll processing provider.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with one or more projects that the Project Manager (PM) is working on, allowing opportunities to gain exposure, and understanding of Project Management methodologies and processes in a professional environment
  • Assist PM to ensure project requirements, standards, and documentation are followed
  • Support PM in managing schedules and milestones; ensuring that routine project statuses are received from team members
  • Ensure quality and timely submission of all project deliverables and documentation as assigned by the PM
  • Assist PM with reporting on the project status and health
  • Assist PM with identifying, managing, and resolving project risks and issues
  • Assist PM with monitoring quality assurance and change control processes
  • Learn and use project management software
  • Proactively communicate with sponsors, team, and all other relevant stakeholders for each assigned project as directed by the PM

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in Engineering discipline, Project management or related field
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week during summer.
  • Hours - between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. (some evenings may be required)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & SharePoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to actively listen, communicate in ways that foster trust and show flexibility.
  • Must be able to complete projects with limited supervision. Ability to take ownership and ask for help when needed.
  • A strong interest in Project Management, Program Management, or Industrial Engineering as a career is preferred
Salary Ranges$29.47 - $39.42

Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training. In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
