Job Description

• Uses yard truck to stage empty trailers.
• Backs trailers into designated dock doors for loading/unloading process.
• Pulls loaded trailers and stages on ship pad in designated position(outbound only)
• Communicates with interior dock personnel to ensure trailers are completed and released from dock.
• Performs pre-trip inspection according to Greif Packaging LLC safety procedures and completes and submits inspection form daily.
• Completes housekeeping activities on a daily basis.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must possess a CDL Class A license with air brakes

Education and Experience

• Typically possesses High School diploma (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good customer service skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with customers and colleagues at delivery points.
• Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Specialized driver's license(s), such as commercial driver's license, may be required.
• Ability to back in and stage multiple styles and size trailers.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions during the day or night.
