Management Analyst III

This position requires an active Secret clearance to be considered.

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.

The Management Analyst III provides high-level executive administrative planning and analytical support to the Bureau of Arms Control and Nonproliferation (T Bureau). This role supports the Assistant Secretary and Front Office operations through strategic planning, policy development, and coordination of executive functions. The position requires strong analytical abilities, executive-level communication skills, and the capacity to manage sensitive and complex administrative matters with discretion.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Management Analyst III: $89,832

Pay commensurate with experience.

Management Analyst III Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting the T Bureau in planning, coordinating, and developing policies and procedures for Front Office operations.
  • Managing executive scheduling, conference room usage, appointment requests, and supply needs.
  • Coordinating and organizing meetings, conferences, and special events at the direction of the Assistant Secretary.
  • Preparing announcements, documents, and draft memoranda for Assistant Secretary-led engagements.
  • Responding to document requests, appointment scheduling inquiries, and travel coordination requirements.
  • Advising leadership on tools and methods to improve the efficiency of executive administrative support functions.
  • Conducting management surveys to assess compliance with agency regulations, procedures, and sound management practices.
  • Developing and implementing new or revised administrative procedures and methodologies.
  • Representing the directorate in high-level meetings and working groups with senior officials.
  • Liaising with headquarters managers to coordinate projects, policies, and initiatives, and resolving challenges as they arise.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Management Analyst III Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience providing executive-level administrative support.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience performing program and operational analysis.
  • Proficiency in the E2 Travel program.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database applications.
  • Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare executive-level correspondence and documentation.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
