The Position

Strategic Growth and Activation Director - NAM

The Opportunity

The Strategic Growth and Activation Director is responsible for ensuring that global, regional and affiliate strategic action plans are aligned with the Roche Information Solutions (RIS) product life cycle framework (PLCF). Assume accountability for the local activation of the global Go-To Market (GTM) product launch plans in alignment with global Market Development, NAM affiliate enterprise marketing and the Customer Areas (CA) for Healthcare Insights (HIx) and Diagnostics Insights (DIx) .

Lead and oversee the respective cross-functional teams in the development and activation of the NAM digital product launch plans for execution by the RIS GTM NAM team. Ensure timely communications from the field to the appropriate global Market Development Manager (MDM) for delivery to Customer Areas (CA) for assigned products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the respective cross-functional teams in the development and activation of comprehensive and detailed GTM digital product launch plans for North America (NAM), inclusive of value propositions across economic, clinical, operational; customer segmentation; key customer personas; target customer identification for pilots, etc., ensuring all key business processes are executable by the GTM NAM Digital Business Managers (DBM) as designed and in alignment with the NAM Affiliate Enterprise digital goals.

  • Accountable for the strategic alignment with the global Market Development Manager (MDM) for global product positioning, core messages, global commercial strategy and business plan to ensure timely, on target execution in alignment with the Product Life Cycle Framework (PLCF) for assigned Roche Information Solutions (RIS) digital product(s) from Healthcare Insights (HIx) and Diagnostics Insights (DIx) Customer Areas.

  • Drive NAM localization by serving as primary interface between NAM Affiliate Enterprise Digital team and RIS, acting as the local liaison for global market development strategies, tactics, and support to increase commercial readiness for Scale as defined by the NAM affiliate enterprise team and the digital-specific metrics and analytics to help ensure the local development of strategies and tactics to attain organizational objectives. This involves collaborating with franchise-specific marketing teams to integrate digital strategies, and share best practices and secure their commitment and support for digital product launch plan

  • Collaborate with sales and market development teams across Customer Areas to promote the enhancement of existing digital diagnostic products or develop new solutions. Align with NAM Affiliate marketing deliverables for digital product commercialization including the development of user documentation and digital interfaces required for product launches. Develop integrated marketing programs for the RIS digital portfolio including assessment of existing and potential markets, product life cycle planning, development of digital product strategies, establishment of pricing strategies for digital solutions, and digital product launch plans.

  • Once the GTM digital product launch plan is developed, this role assumes accountable ownership for its activation. This involves driving all launch activities, coordinating with key stakeholders across RIS and Affiliate, and preparing the Digital Business Manager (DBM) team for a successful market entry. This includes ensuring essential training and ongoing support to continually enhance the team's productivity and build their digital GTM capabilities.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or a related business or scientific field

  • 8 years of progressive Go-To market experience with at least 4 years focused on digital health products

  • Demonstrated experience in commercialization and/or product marketing of digital products, including strategic growth and activation, customer journey mapping, and analytics

  • Proficient in customer segmentation, as well as product positioning of digital products, market environment analysis, and value creation of digital products

  • Strong understanding of digital technologies and platforms relevant to diagnostic solutions

  • This role requires leadership through influence to develop and deliver NAM digital growth and activation in alignment with the NAM affiliate enterprise digital team. This position involves close collaboration with global and local cross-functional teams to drive timely and on target launch readiness plans and execution.

  • Experience bringing an enterprise perspective to digital initiatives, connecting individual digital products to broader organizational strategies

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA/Master's degree

  • Three to five years of previous healthcare management and/or leadership experience

  • Experience with regulatory requirements for digital health products

  • Prior experience working in globally matrixed environment

  • Demonstrated success in enterprise-wide digital initiatives that span multiple business units or product lines

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is $148,400 - $275,600. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
