TheWindows Silicon and Systems Integrationteam is seeking a Senior Software Engineerwith a background in developing windows OS driver and firmware for ARM SOCs. The development engineer in this role will be working closely with hardware and software architects as well as Windows OS teams. This individual will also actively contribute to system integration, platform creations, maintenance, platform stability, performance & overall software release quality. This role is ideal for engineers who have interest in low-level systems, thrive in ambiguity, and are driven to solve complex system challenges that span across hardware and software boundaries. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and validate embedded firmware features to meet requirements in pre and post-silicon environments. Drive engineering requirements and implementation at system level. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather software requirements for product and system integration. Develop automation and tools to streamline integration, validation, and regression testing. Drive system-level debugging and root cause analysis across multiple components and layers, ensuring robust integration with Windows OS Collaborate with silicon partners, hardware teams, and internal software teams to bring up and stabilize new platforms. Provide technical leadership to enhance overall system integration and performance. Embody ourCultureandValues.
