Job Summary: This position is responsible for providing "concierge support" to help BIPOC, low income, and marginalized student cohorts from identified partner high schools, including Career and Technology Centers, build academic pathways to HACC. The incumbent works on removing barriers to ensure equity in and accessibility to dual enrollment and college-in-the-high school programs for identified student populations. This position works collaboratively with high school counselors and teachers to ensure that the students pursue their best-fit path for college credits while in high school. Best-fit paths include but are not limited to SOAR agreements, local articulation agreements, College in the High School (CHS), Dual Enrollment (DE) and Advanced Placement (AP). Responsible for assisting the Director of High School Partnerships with coordinating CHS and DE programming, outreach and special events with identified schools.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience, or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Licensing Requirements:

Valid Driver's License or Means of Transportation
PA ACT-15 Compliance

Hiring Range: $44,213 - $55,267

Experience/knowledge about Career and Technical education (CTE), experience planning events, knowledge of dual enrollment

Job Specific Task List:



  • Provide concierge support for identified high school partners, including CTCs, to assist with navigating the pathway from high school to post-secondary utilizing SOAR agreements, local articulation agreements, CHS, DE and AP course options. - (Essential)
  • Collaborate with high school partners to close the equity gap by working to identify partner-specific ways for BIPOC, low income, and under-represented students to start pathways in high school that can lead to completing a HACC credential including liberal studies and career and technical education programs. - (Essential)
  • Assist with planning, hosting and facilitating outreach events for high school partner counselors, students and parent/guardians including information sessions, CTE program visits/experience days and career exploration opportunities. - (Essential)
  • Conduct focus groups and surveys to identify possible barriers in the pathway process from high schools, including CTCs, to HACC. Implement data informed improvements and continuously assess processes. - (Essential)
  • Assist with establishing, overseeing, and participating in a HACC DECHS advisory council to include representation from high schools, including CTCs comprised of administrators, teachers, counselors and students. - (Essential)
  • Engage in pathway building from the high schools to HACC by participating in counselor advisory committees of select high school partners, including CTCs. - (Essential)
  • Collaborate with high school counselors and teachers, including CTCs, to identify "average-performing," murky-middle rising sophomores and juniors to navigate DECHS options in career and technical education programs at HACC. - (Essential)
  • Partner with high school counselors to recruit qualified BIPOC students who are not participating in the DECHS program by removing barriers, conducting targeted outreach and providing necessary support for potential student success. - (Essential)
  • Coordinate, oversee and facilitate targeted outreach events for graduating DECHS seniors including matriculation orientations, Welcome to HACC Events, FAFSA information sessions and parent/guardian information sessions to provide necessary support in their consideration of post-secondary education. - (Essential)
  • Provide information, analyze data, generate written reports regarding improvements to student onboarding progress as requested and contribute to the development of effectiveness reports. - (Standard)
  • Conduct student interactions in compliance with FERPA regulations. Demonstrate understanding of the College's interpretation of FERPA rules for the release of student information to faculty, parents, students, etc. - (Standard)
  • Travel to HACC locations as needed to support DECHS programs. - (Standard)
