Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY: Be an active extension of CK's brand of integrity, quality and commitment within the marketplace to drive company growth by building strategic relationships through targeted markets and client engagements. Research and develop client contact to identify and prioritize potential customers. Assist in developing objectives and strategies in support of overall corporate business development goals. Assist in formal marketing presentation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  In addition to following CK's values, policies and procedures, the primary responsibilities of this position currently include, but are not limited to, the following: Work closely with the Director of Business Development to: 
 Develop key industry / client relationships across current and future markets utilizing various engagement methodsThis involves strategizing and supporting geographic expansion effortsSet meeting cadence and clear goals to foster consistency and to maintain relevance in the marketplaceCreate targeted client action plans and carry out related tasksMaintain and update CRM (Client Relationship Management) tool to track various engagements and communicationsParticipate in weekly business development meetings with CK leadership to share knowledge and strategize overall approach and individual next steps Work closely with the marketing team to: 
 Share key client and project insights, provide review and strategic feedback throughout the lifecycle of project pursuitsThis includes but is not limited to a client's requests for qualifications (RFQ), requests for proposals (RFP), marketing packets, interviews, presentations, etc.Participate in weekly Business Development and Marketing meetings with the CK Marketing Team to discuss upcoming pursuits and relevant information / needsInteract with the Estimating and Preconstruction teams to discover client's needs prior to contract executionorchestrate meetings with the client and CK team membersInteract with Project Executives to ensure consistent and thorough follow-through and client satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of a projectBe an active member and contributor in the community through various organizations and events supported by CK KEY SKILLS, QUALITIES AND COMPETENCIES CORE TO THIS POSITION:

 Four-year engineering, architecture, marketing or business degree or equivalent combination of training, business development or economic development experience required.Prior experience in business development or economic development.
