Class A Delivery Driver

Staffmark Drivers is seeking new talent in Lakeland, FL, and hiring an experienced Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a temp-to-hire role with the potential for steady work and excellent benefits.

Pay: $25 per hour plus Overtime over 40 hours

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Start time 6 AM.

Job Details:

• Route: Short-haul routes delivering industrial packaging for restaurants, hospitals, and clinics
• Freight: Touch freight | Hauling industrial packaging
• Unload the product using proper lifting techniques and warehouse equipment as needed
• Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, push/pull up to 100 lbs
• Vehicle Type: Straight truck, box truck, or CMV (26,001+ lbs)

Job Duties:

• Perform required vehicle safety inspections before, during, and after dispatch (DVIR)
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle and report any maintenance issues
• Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
• Read and interpret shipping orders, manifests, and exception forms
• Available for work as scheduled to meet customer delivery commitments
• Assist with preparing orders, loading/unloading, stocking inventory, and general warehouse tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Must have Hazmat endorsement.
• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
• No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the past 3 years
• Clear FMCSA Clearinghouse Report
• Acceptable MVR and ability to pass pre-employment screenings
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer and math skills to operate dispatch systems and verify orders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks
