Orthopedic Polisher

Staffmark is seeking a skilled Orthopedic Polisher to join our orthopedic manufacturing team. In this role, you'll refine and polish orthopedic implants and devices to ensure precision, quality, and a flawless finish. Pay: $17/hour

Shifts: 2nd or 3rd

Responsibilities:

• Use specialized polishing tools and equipment to finish orthopedic implants and devices according to strict quality standards
• Inspect and correct surface imperfections to achieve smooth, flawless finishes
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to meet specifications for each device
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Perform regular maintenance on polishing equipment to ensure consistent performance
• Follow all safety protocols and manufacturing guidelines

Qualifications:

• Experience in polishing or finishing, preferably in medical device or orthopedic manufacturing
• Proficiency with buffers, abrasive materials, and polishing compounds
• Knowledge of materials used in orthopedic implants and their polishing requirements
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Attention to detail and ability to meet strict quality standards
• Ability to work independently and in a team, following precise instructions
• Familiarity with quality control processes in medical device manufacturing
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
• Certification or training in orthopedic polishing or a related field is a plus
