Staffmark is hiring a Materials Quality Technician in Belmont, NC! Join a team dedicated to maintaining the highest quality standards in warehouse operations and production. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in materials testing, quality control, and warehouse processes.

Pay & Schedule



  • $20/hour
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM



Responsibilities



  • Collect samples and perform inspections on incoming raw materials
  • Conduct testing procedures for raw materials and intermediates within expected timelines
  • Support warehouse operations, including goods receipt, outbound shipping, and inventory control
  • Monitor quality control points in production and final product delivery
  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality checks and tests performed
  • Manage quality hold areas for non-conforming materials/products
  • Assist Quality Lab Technicians and participate in investigations as needed
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in quality testing and warehouse operations
  • Prior inspection, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments
  • Forklift experience required
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work around moving mechanical parts and increased noise levels
  • Knowledge of plastics testing, quality control assurance, and troubleshooting preferred
