As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to create a secure and welcoming environment at an educational location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will play a key role in responding to situations as they arise, always communicating with professionalism and care. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with staff, students, and visitors to support a secure environment within the location.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate records as required by site protocols.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt patrol routes as needed to address site-specific concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
