Laundry Room Attendant

Staffmark is seeking a part-time Laundry Room Attendant to join our team in Jonesboro, AR. If you're dependable, safety-conscious, and ready to stay active while supporting a critical department, this role is for you!

Pay: $13.00/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, part-time (16 hrs/week, includes every other weekend)

What You'll Do:

• Sort and wash soiled linens
• Fold and organize clean laundry
• Offload 200 lbs of wet laundry from washers and load into dryers
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the laundry department
• Inspect laundry for potential biohazards (bodily fluids, sharps) per on-site BBP protocol
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficiency and safety

What We're Looking For:

• Ability to lift 40 lbs repetitively for 8-10 hours
• Comfortable stooping, bending, reaching, and staying active for long periods
• Dependable and safety-conscious
• Available to work every other weekend as scheduled
• Comfortable working around biohazards (training provided)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare is a plus but not required
