Position Summary:

Job Duties:

Bio-Program Assistant will be assisting our Bioscience Department in: collecting, preserving, cataloging, identifying, packaging specimens, and entering data on biologic specimens. The collection contains mammals, birds, insects, molluscs and plants.

This position works a total of 15 hours per week (30 per two weeks' pay period). These hours will be scheduled with the supervisor and occur within a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm work week.

We prefer a student who is able to work well independently, but is willing to ask questions as appropriate, and who is reliable and courteous to all staff, volunteers, and Museum visitors.

A student enrolled with a Biology or Museum related degree is preferred
